Aliases: ferrous sulfate, ferrous sulfate heptahydrate, green vitriol, dried ferrous sulfate, is a by-product of titanium dioxide production and one of the main raw materials for the production of polyferrous metal and new energy vehicle batteries.

Application
Application of ferrous sulfate in industry
Ferrous sulfate is used in water purification and industrial wastewater treatment. It has strong decolorization ability, good metal ion removal, degreasing, descaling and sterilization effects, and has obvious effects on decolorization of printing and dyeing wastewater, COD removal, and ferrite co-precipitation of electroplating wastewater. Ferrous sulfate treatment agent has low cost and is suitable for wastewater treatment with a pH value above 8.5. It is the preferred product for wastewater treatment such as printing and dyeing, electroplating, etc.
Ferrous sulfate can adjust the pH value in alkaline water, organically combine with suspended matter in water, and accelerate precipitation.

Ferrous sulfate is used as fertilizer and herbicide in agriculture to improve soil pH. Ferrous sulfate is suitable for acidic plants to supplement iron.
